VNGen Studio v0.9.19+21 (Build 496) – Update Announcement
This build brings some sharp new tools to help creators fine-tune their scenes, especially when working with video and precise frame control.
What’s new in this update
Video Splicing Tools
You can now trim video assets directly inside VNGen Studio, cutting from the beginning or end to isolate the exact segment you want. This makes it much easier to pull out the perfect moment for your game without relying on outside editors.
Flip and Invert Options for Assets
Sprites, images, and other visuals can now be flipped horizontally or vertically while resizing. It is a small but powerful addition that gives creators more flexibility when arranging or stylizing their scenes.
Precision Frame Navigation
Two new buttons—Previous Frame and Next Frame—have been added for tight control over playback. These make video trimming, timing, and keyframe alignment much more accurate.
Menu System Status
Menus are fully functional at this stage. If any lingering bugs exist, they have not been reported yet, so everything should perform as expected. All normal menu editing workflows are stable.
